DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced : Compact and Packed with Upgrades

DJI releases a new addition to their enterprise drone line, the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced. As the name suggests, this drone is loaded with upgrades while still retaining its small size. The Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced will have much impact on improving the workflow of organizations with complex operations. While it may not be the be-all-end-all solution for inspection professionals, it is certainly a welcome upgrade.

Small Package, Advance Sensors

The Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced users will enjoy far better imaging thanks to its advanced dual-sensor setup. The Thermal sensor features an HD 640x512 px resolution, and the RGB sensor boasts a 48 MP camera with a ½” CMOS sensor. The Thermal sensor is accurate up to 2 degree Celsius and captures at a 30 Hz frame rate. The RGB sensor can capture high-resolution images and videos at 4k. Pilots can easily switch between RGB, thermal or a split-screen view depending on the situation. The Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced enables inspection professionals to make quick and informed decisions leading to more effective operations.

Greater Accuracy

When equipped with the RTK module, the drone can achieve up to a centimetre level of accuracy. You can also set up 240 outpoints for an automated flight, enabling you to navigate complex environments. The Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced also enjoys an Omnidirectional obstacle sensor, further increasing its reliability in tricky sites.

Agile in Flight, Quick to Deploy

The Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced can be set up and deployed in under a minute, compared to the average five min deploy period for the M-300 or other drones this is lightning fast. Its lightweight frame enables it to zip through complicated sites with ease. The rapid deployment and agile flight make this drone an ideal choice for emergency first responders or mission-critical emergency inspections.

Improved Workflow

The Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced’s upgraded features make it the perfect choice for preliminary inspections. While it is smaller and smarter, it is the same small stature that limits its capabilities, supporting only a ½” CMOS sensor. Once the drone has conducted its inspection, a DJI M-300 or other high-powered drones can be brought on for further analysis if required. This enables the smooth and efficient progress of workflow, cutting down on ineffective use of time.
